We are at the end of the year and if you are anything like me then you’re thinking about what you did during the year. For me I have a lot of trouble remembering things like what music I bought, movies I have seen and how many coffees I bought. But if you are like Nicholas Felton, then you are tracking what you are doing, where you are going and things like what books you have read. If you like or are interested in infographics (What is an infographic?  It is a graphical representation of data/information making it easier to understand) then you must check out his site (www.feltron.com). For several years now he has created an annual report (which always sells out very quickly!) covering certain areas of his life and they look amazing. He has also created an app/website thast allows others to track information about themselves (www.daytum.com). It definitely makes me think that I need to be more vigilant about tracking my life and thinking how I can then use this information.

As more and more people are using smartphones and tablets, there is a lot of valuable user data being generated. Many companies use this data so they can market appropriately to you, but I am getting more and more interested in this data and how I can use it for myself. One day I hope to be able to generate some nice infographics about myself and my habits which I will share here. If you know of any sites with infographics that you recommend then please share them in the comments.
